Do Yajuj Majuj Have Machines & Technology? (Gog and Magog) — Part 7 #Shorts

If a huge nation is hidden today, how does it eat, travel and build? Part 7 checks what the sources actually say about machines and technology.

Here is a fair and common question. Do Yajuj and Majuj live like people in ancient times? Or do they have machines, vehicles and modern technology? Part 7 looks for a clear answer.

Why People Ask This

If a large population is hidden somewhere in the world today, people wonder how they live. How do they eat, travel, build and communicate? And would their tools look familiar to us when they finally appear? Those are fair questions to ask.

What the Main Sources Say

In the Quran, Surah Al-Kahf describes Dhul-Qarnayn reaching a place between two mountains. People there asked for protection from Yajuj and Majuj, known in English as Gog and Magog. He built a strong barrier using blocks of iron and molten copper.

Surah Al-Anbiya later says that when the appointed time comes, they will be released. They will swarm down from every height.

These passages focus on who they are, the barrier that restrains them, and their release as a sign near the end of time. They do not list cars, planes, computers or weapons. They do not describe a modern industrial city.

Three Scholarly Views

Scholars differ in how they explain this. Some say we should not assume advanced technology. The texts describe their great numbers, speed and destructive impact, rather than their inventions.

Others point out that human communities usually develop tools suited to their environment. So Yajuj and Majuj could have simple tools, weapons or methods of building that we have not seen.

A third view is careful and balanced. Absence of detail is not proof of absence. But it is also not evidence for secret high-tech cities, underground bases or futuristic machines.

Stated, Possible, or Speculation?

For viewers, the helpful lesson is to separate three things. What is stated. What is possible. And what is speculation shared online.

Videos and posts sometimes use dramatic images of robots or aircraft to attract attention. Those images are illustrations, not evidence. This is Daily Info Dose, Part 7.
